Hiring in Sierra Leone: Our New Job Board, Talent Pool and CV Maker
We have opened jobs.salonekart.com, a free place for Sierra Leone employers to post roles and for candidates to build a CV and be found. It is new, so here is what it does and does not do yet.
For employers
- Post a role for free. We match it against our candidate pool.
- Browse the available local talent list.
- Each job gets its own page with structured data, so search engines can read it as a job posting.
For candidates
- Build a clean CV with the free CV maker.
- Read our guides on writing a CV and interviews.
Privacy by design
The public talent board shows only what is safe to show. We never publish a candidate's home address or personal phone number, and job pages never show an employer's email.
Hiring well, step by step
Define the role, advertise in more than one place, score each CV against your three must-haves, ask every candidate the same questions, phone two references, and put the offer in writing. Our employer guide to hiring staff in Sierra Leone covers each step. Payroll rules such as NASSIT contributions change, so confirm them with the National Revenue Authority, NASSIT or an accountant.
One rule we hold to
Never ask applicants to pay a fee, leave a deposit or buy a uniform before they are hired. It is unfair and it harms your reputation.
