Freetown's biggest party of 2026 announced — headline performers revealed
FREETOWN, Sierra Leone — Event organisers have officially announced the full line-up for what is being billed as the largest music event in Sierra Leone's history — a two-night festival at Lumley Beach on July 26–27, 2026.
The event, titled "Salone Vibes 2026", will feature a combination of international headline acts and Sierra Leone's biggest homegrown artists, performing across two stages over 48 hours.
International headline acts confirmed
Three international performers have been confirmed by the organisers, though Salone Buzz has been asked to withhold one name until the official press conference next week. The two confirmed international acts are:
- Afrobeats international — A Grammy-nominated Nigerian artist who performed to 80,000 at Lagos's Afrofuture festival in 2025
- UK Afro-fusion act — A British-Sierra Leonean artist who recently performed at the MOBO Awards and has 12 million monthly Spotify listeners
Salone artists on the bill
The full Salone line-up includes Drizilik, Kao Denero, Emmerson (subject to his current diss track drama resolving peacefully), Nessim Pan Production, and a 10-artist showcase dedicated to emerging Freetown talent under 25.
