Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Who We Are

SaloneKart is operated by KESARI GLOBAL, a Sierra Leone-registered business. Our platforms include:

• salonekart.com — Online marketplace (electronics, fashion, beauty, home goods)
• Salone Buzz (salonekart.com/buzz/) — News, jobs, events, classifieds, community
• SalonePay (salonekart.com/wallet/) — Digital wallet & payment service
• Salone Taxi (salonekart.com/taxi/) — Ride-hailing service
• yogistay.com — Hotel and accommodation bookings
• globe2me.com — International money transfers

2. Acceptance of Terms

By ticking the "I accept" checkbox, completing a payment, booking a service, or submitting content, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms in full
• You are at least 18 years old (or have parent/guardian consent)
• You are legally permitted to enter binding contracts in your jurisdiction
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

3. Pricing & Markup Policy

Delivery & Shipping: All delivery, shipping, and transport charges are charged at actual cost and are always additional to the listed product/service price. Shipping quotes are provided before final checkout. International shipping times vary by carrier.

4. Payment Terms

• All prices are displayed in USD (international products) or NLe (New Leone, local services)
• Payments are processed via Stripe (cards) or SalonePay (wallet)
• Access to premium content, services, or features is granted ONLY after payment is confirmed and verified in our Stripe dashboard
• The $1 spam-prevention gate on job postings, marketplace listings, event listings, and video uploads is non-refundable
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• All Stripe transactions are subject to Stripe's own Terms of Service

5. Refund Policy

• Physical products: Defective or wrong items reported within 7 days of delivery may be eligible for refund. Contact us via WhatsApp with photo evidence.
• Digital services ($1 gates, ads): Non-refundable once payment is confirmed and service is delivered.
• Taxi rides: If a driver cancels after acceptance, a full refund or ride credit is issued within 3 business days.
• SalonePay wallet: Top-up amounts are credited to your wallet and can be used for services. Unused wallet balance refunds require 10 business days processing.
• YogiStay: Cancellation policy as displayed at booking time.
• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Marketplace Products (AliExpress Dropshipping)

• Products are sourced from third-party suppliers (primarily AliExpress) and shipped internationally
• Estimated delivery: 7–21 business days (standard), 3–7 days (express, additional charge)
• All customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees are the responsibility of the buyer
• We act as facilitator; the shipping carrier and supplier bear responsibility for in-transit damage
• Product images are representative; minor variations may occur
• We reserve the right to cancel orders if a product becomes unavailable or the price changes significantly

7. Salone Taxi

• Salone Taxi connects passengers with independent drivers; we are a technology platform, not a transport company
• Fare estimates are indicative; final fare is confirmed at booking and may vary slightly due to traffic or route changes
• A 15% (standard) or 20% (SUV) platform fee is included in the displayed fare
• Delivery and transport charges are always at actual cost charged directly
• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or driver unavailability
• Passengers must wear seatbelts and comply with local road safety laws
• Abusive behaviour toward drivers results in permanent account ban

8. Salone Buzz Content Policy

• All user-submitted content (jobs, listings, events, videos, stories) is subject to review before publication
• The $1 payment does not guarantee publication — content is reviewed for compliance
• Content that is illegal, defamatory, pornographic, or misleading will be rejected without refund
• You retain copyright of content you submit but grant SaloneKart a non-exclusive licence to display it
• Fake job listings or fraudulent marketplace ads will result in permanent ban and reporting to Sierra Leone Police

9. SalonePay Wallet

• SalonePay is a stored-value digital wallet, not a bank account or regulated financial institution
• Maximum wallet balance: $500 USD equivalent
• SalonePay cannot be used for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
• We reserve the right to freeze wallets under investigation for fraud
• SalonePay balances are not insured by any government deposit scheme

10. User Conduct

• You may not use any SaloneKart platform to commit fraud, impersonate others, or harass users
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or automated access without written permission is prohibited
• You may not attempt to circumvent payment gates or premium access restrictions
• Violation of these rules results in immediate account termination and potential legal action

11. Privacy & Data

We collect name, phone number, email, and payment details solely for service delivery. We do not sell your data to third parties. Phone numbers are used for WhatsApp order communication. Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Sierra Leone law, KESARI GLOBAL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platforms. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sierra Leone. If you are outside Sierra Leone, you consent to Sierra Leone jurisdiction for any dispute related to your use of our services.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
