SaloneKart (salonekart.com) is operated by KESARI GLOBAL, based at Opposite Lungi International Airport, Sierra Leone. We are Sierra Leone's #1 digital marketplace connecting buyers, sellers, and service providers across the country.
2. Information We Collect
- Order information: Name, phone number, delivery address when you place an order.
- Seller registration: Business name, email, phone, product category and location when you register as a seller.
- WhatsApp messages: When you contact us via WhatsApp (+232 72 120 659), we retain conversation history to process your enquiry.
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 (GA4: G-WEBD3VEBZX) — pages visited, session duration. No personally identifiable information is sent to GA4.
- Payment data: Card payments are processed by Stripe. SaloneKart never stores card numbers — all payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and deliver your orders
- To create and manage your seller account
- To send order confirmations and delivery updates by SMS or WhatsApp
- To improve the SaloneKart platform and services
- To comply with Sierra Leone regulatory requirements (NRA, NASSIT)
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Supabase — secure cloud database hosting (EU/US servers)
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics
- Delivery partners — your name and address to complete delivery
5. Data Retention
Order records are retained for 7 years in compliance with Sierra Leone tax regulations. Seller registration data is retained for the duration of your listing plus 2 years. You may request deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
- Request a copy of your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time
7. Cookies
SaloneKart uses essential cookies for site functionality and Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage measurement. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant). Seller data is stored in Supabase with row-level security. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
